Dr. Samer Khosrof has completed his residency in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate University. He has also completed additional training including a Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center and a Retina fellowship at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary / Harvard Medical School.
His excellent record in treating complex eye conditions has won him nation-wide and global respect and reputation. He is a regular contributor to several peer-reviewed medical journals, and his research work in anti-angiogenesis has become the basis of the latest treatments for retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr Khosrof is serving as attending surgeon at SUNY- Downstate University Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Methodist Hospital. With over 25 years of experience in performing refractive cataract, cornea, glaucoma, vitreo-retinal, and oculoplastic surgeries, Dr Khosrof has helped thousands of people receive exceptional eye care both nationally and internationally.
